Centerpiece | A Poem

Happy Friday Beloveds,

Here is a new poem, I recently wrote. I hope you enjoy it!

This place,

ebbing the way

silence does,  making

its way into peace

this place

used to feel empty

like insides stripped away

making its way to brokenness

now this place feels like

healing, pieces ebbing

and floating onto

a table of thanksgiving

I am the centerpiece,

my soul a display

of placing not-so-together

things into a formation of hope

a cornucopia of mending,

this is fruitfulness--a lesson

on how to stitch and sew memories

of pain into a quilt of giving

I am giving,

lending out love

without expectations

this place, this soul, this love

I've learned to accept,

to take what's been given,

wrap it into gifts of forgiveness

Stay creative, Beloveds!

Sincerely, Antavia
