25 Days of Creativity

It’s December!

This month is such a beautiful, cheerful, full of faith kind of month. I love December because it is one of the most cheeriest times of year and I am here for all that is jolly, Christmas-y, and all things Baby Jesus (and of course adult Jesus).

So, my dear readers, I have decided to do something different this Christmas season. Something I have never done before. It’s going to be big, amazing, and if you haven’t guessed by my title, full of creativity.

In my last post you probably read about Nanowrimo (hyperlink the blog) and what that month was like for me. I’ve decided to continue on that train of creating and being present and using the gifts I believe God has given me.

After some thinking about what I wanted to do after my break from social media(basically just Instagram) and blogging, I figured doing a challenge to get my creative juices flowing again is a great way to start. Much of what I created in the last months has been therapy for myself, but also I was striving to create a following for my blog, so much so, I had begun to forget the reason why I even have a social presence online.

This month I wanted to do something fun and something I’ve never done before. Create something new for the next 25 days. For myself I have concluded that those new things can obviously be blogging, but also poetry, fiction, dance, or even baking for a whole 25 days. My desire in life is to create, to express that creativity through love, and allow other people to be a part of what God created creativity for. God created humans as creative beings and I want to tap into the creativity to fullest extent that is possible in my lifetime.

Furthermore, I think this is a cool way for me to hear from God and understand more of how He’s created me to create. I know some of the readers who read this blog may not believe in God, but I’d love for you guys to partake in this journey of creating with me.

I think it’s gonna be fun and plenty Christmas-y.

Love you personas muchas.

Creatively,

~ A

To live is to express, and to express you have to create. Creation is never merely repetition. To live is to express oneself freely in creation. Bruce Lee

“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.” Martha Graham
